Customized Services: Webinar Training for the Combustion Institute
The Combustion Institute had a limited time, only one day, to accomplish a group Congressional visit day event. In order to provide our signature science policy pre-event training, we provided two webinar trainings in advance of the event. Webinar trainings enable organizations to maximize their time in Washington, DC by preparing them in advance for Congressional visits and offers real-time interaction between the presenter and the audience.
Our webinars covered recent news on the Congressional landscape, budget process and delivering your message to Capitol Hill. We ensured Congressional visit day participants understood the latest developments being debated in Congress and equipped them with the budget terminology and process information they needed to successfully engage with Members of Congress and Congressional staff. We also worked with them on understanding their audience, the keys to an effective visit, preparing their message and logistics.
Our post-event survey showed that over 90% of participants felt prepared for their meetings and 100% were satisfied with the event. We take feedback seriously and carefully tailor our webinars to the interests of the organization.
