Using SRC Data

We encourage you to use any of the tables and graphs that you find on the Statistical Research Center website. You do not need to ask for permission. If you use our data in a paper, you will need to follow the citation guidelines of the publication.

We would also appreciate your citing our work in your oral presentations. In part, this would acknowledge the work of the authors of the report(s) you found useful. In part, citing our work would give your audience the opportunity to know where to go to ask questions, make comments or request additional data. Our preferred approach is to be cited as: AIP Statistical Research Center (including our website www.aip.org/statistics on appropriate slides). If you want to cite more information, you could include the name of the author and the name of the report.

Did you know that...

…you can export graphs directly from our PDF reports using the Snapshot tool in Adobe Reader? We have designed our focus on series to make it easy for you to use our tables and figures in your papers and presentations. You don't need to re-type any data; simply copy the desired table or figure (using the Snapshot tool under Tools, Select & Zoom) and paste it into your document or presentation.
