High school physics textbooks and teacher resourcefulness

The textbooks and other resources used by high school physics teachers in the US have evolved along with the changing demands of physics classes and the evolving set of options available to teachers. In this report, we identify the most widely used textbooks for each type of physics class and share the teachers’ ratings of the textbooks they use. We then take a closer look at the other types of resources teachers are using for their classes.
