Campaign Education WorkshopThe Campaign Education Workshop, created by Scientists and Engineers for America, and AIP in coalition with APS, ASA and other science societies are co-sponsoring the first annual Campaign Education Workshop. Workshop attendees will learn the nuts and bolts of running a campaign. The video, which was created with AIP's TV expertise, interviews physicists who have stepped into politics. The May 10 workshop will take place in Washington, DC, and will feature campaign gurus such as Joe Trippi, author of The Revolution Will Not Be Televised and an advisor to multiple presidential campaigns, and Kevan Chapman, Communications Director for Congressman Vern Ehlers, Ph.D. (MI-3, Physics). |
