Inside Sales Representative

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

This position will be primarily responsible for selling AIP products to new and existing institutional customers including government, corporate, and academic libraries. The job entails building and maintaining relationships with customers and introducing AIP products to established clients and new prospects. The job requires managing a sales pipeline, including the tracking and following up on the leads, building quotations, sending proposals, as well as negotiating terms and conditions with customers. An Inside Sales Representative will interact closely with other members of the sales team and coordinate with sales support and order fulfillment staff. The Inside Sales Representative will help drive the effort to sell and renew our subscription base in the assigned territory. At its core, this is a "solution sell", requiring the candidate to understand what clients' information needs are, what they truly want to achieve through the acquisition of AIP content, and how AIP journals can meet those goals for them.

The Inside Sales position is a great place to start your career at AIP. The intention of this position is to provide a training ground for Inside Sales Representatives to take on their own larger territory and responsibilities within a few years.
